Three months?

 How is it possible that it has been three months since I last posted?!? I can't believe that. Hmmm, where to begin. I suppose with the kids. Everyone is doing great! Zachary has officially learned all his Kindergarten sight words and has moved on to learning his first grade words.  He also has his first loose tooth!! He is beyond excited.Mikey is doing amazing in school also. All A's and B's on his last interim. {this has been his pattern since the start of school!!} my little princess is her normal bouncy self....except she's getting antsy about the move. What move, you may ask? Well, I don't remember if I told you all or not, but we are moving up to GA! Michael and I thought he would be out of the Army {medically retired} by now, but it looks like it could be anywhere from 5-8 more months. :( We found and locked down {paid the deposit} for our rental house.

 Kitchen, 1 bedroom, straight back is the bathroom and behind the stove wall is the laundry room. In front of the breakfast bar would be where our dining table goes....

One of the 3 bedrooms. This is only half of the room! The bedrooms are HUGE!

Part of the living room. Fireplace!!! :) Those two windows are on the front of the house.

The house! It's a triplex. We were very lucky because it's a month to month rental because we will be looking for our forever house once we get settled in. Also, Michael's cousin, his wife and kids live to doors down! It's going to be GREAT for the kids to have their cousins so close!

Hmmm, what next? I know. My work. It's been wonderful at Home Instead Senior Care! My client is moving to an assisted living apartment, so she had decided to stop using my company. :( I haven't been with her for about 3 weeks now and I miss her. Ya ya, I may be too attached, but I think that my genuine care and concern for people is what will make me a good nurse! I put in my two weeks notice just a few hours ago. It's definitely a bittersweet moment.

Here's a few pictures since the last time I posted.

 Hailey totally trusts her Mikey!

She wore an itsy bitsy teeny weeny little polka dot bikini...

She entertained herself for a good 15 minutes doing this :)

 My Z going all the way under the water. He HATES water on his face for some reason so this is a HUGE deal for him! I'm so proud! :)

Mother's Day, we went out with my mom, grandma and her boyfriend on their boat.  We had sooo much fun. Here's a few pics from the day!

Bowling, Boo Boos Like Daddy & COLLEGE for Me

{Sorry for the grainy quality. My lil point and shoot was set to High ISO in order to capture these photos in such dim light!}

Last night we went bowling. My hub was trying to cheer me up. Why you ask? Well, the little boy I watch during the day is getting another sitter. Well, Nanny, actually. His mom wants someone who can watch him and clean up for her while she is at work.(she is a Kindergarten teacher) Plus, her hubby is deploying very soon and it would be a better fit for their family.

I must admit that I cried. I am so sad about it, which sort of surprised me. Now, Ive watched a lot of kids in my years, so I figured letting go would be no biggie. Well, I've earned this little mans trust. He likes me. I make funny faces and he laughs at me. He actually wants me to hold him. {In the beginning he wanted nothing to do with me.} My Hailey loves loves loves him! I kid you not. The two weeks over Christmas break {where I didn't gave him} she asked for him almost everyday.

"Mama...Baby Roydal?" ( his name is Royal and thats how she says his name..)

I am sure she will adjust, but it will not be easy. I'm just gald I got to get to know him and his mom and dad. I know we will still see him for playdates {once in a while} so it won't be tooo bad.

Anyways,

This was Zach and Hailey's first time bowling. Mikey went once before with his friend Gabe back when we were stationed in Kansas. The kids had a blast. Mikey, as always, was super hard on himself and kept getting upset that Z was winning. {how the heck Z won is beyond me....at points, the ball seemed like it was going to stop in the middle of the lane, it was going soooo slow! ha!}

MMMM! The bowling alley pizza was da bomb!!!

{"What, mom? Im trying to eat here!}

This is Hailey sleeping with her Boo Boo foot. Well, not really. There's no boo boo. Daddy had an ace bandage he brought home from the ER and Hailey found it and brought it to hub. He wrapped her foot with it and refused to take it off~~

for two days.

Ya, no joke. She's so stinkin cute!

Look at her smiling1 Must be dreaming about that baby of hers. She loves that lil baby. {who has no official name. When asked what the baby's name is, she says "Baby."}

I am looking into going back to school to become an RN {Registered Nurse, folks.} Since Michael ETS'(gets out) in 2 years from the Army, I decided that doing daycare just wasn't the right thing for me in the"civilian" world. Yes, I know that technically I am a civilian, but I am still a part of the militaty lifestyle......

I don't think that daycare will be nearly as booming as it is here on post, and frankly, the pay isn't great for the importance of the job and the dedication it requires. Soooo, I went back to plan B.

Or was it C?  D possibly?!?!?!
I wanted to be an RN wayyy back in the good ol' highschool days, but put those dreams on hold once I had my kids. Now, I want to set a good example for them. because unlike me,{who had the choice on weather or not I would attend college} my children will NOT have that option. They all will go to college right out of HS. I just turned 28 and am going back for my AA then my BA in Nursing. Starting "over" now, at my age, is well......

{embarrassing}

Don't get me wrong...I'm excited and proud as hell of myself for "taking the leap" but it would have been nicer if I pulled my head out of my pa-tootie yearssss ago!
When the hubs gets out, we will be moving to GA.{close to both of our families!}

I am in the admission process now and will begin studying for the COMPASS test for placement in a few days. I plan to take the test in February or March and online classes start end of may. Then once we get to GA, I can just transfer to the university since the online classes are given by the same college.
Ya,
So thats whats been going on round these parts! Tons of info, I know. but at least it makes up a good post, right?!?! LOL!

Anyways, take it easy and I'll see you all again real soon!

Golf, First Day of Kindergarten & Family Reunions

Hello my lovely readers! (thats if I still have any!) Its been wayyy to long since I have posted!!! So, today I come with an update.

First, I will start off with Zachary's first day of Kindergarten. Yes, I am aware it was 13 days ago....Im way behind on everything. And for no good reason!

He's been in for about 2 weeks now & already knows how to write his whole name! Super cool! He's a stubborn lil child and has come home with a few yellows....One for pushing a boy on the playground and one for playing in line and another one for running in class...... He will be the death of me! (im really only kidding...sort of!)

*******************

Hub finally is out of his cast and his walking boot. He is sooo happy to be better. He celebrated with golf. He hearts golf...a lot! Here are some pictures from his first 18 holes after his surgery.

                                                  My Seriously smokin' hubby!

The hubs and I were super lucky to have my mama volunteer to watch the kids so we could go out by ourselves. We went to a new golf course in Ramstein, which was surrounded by trees. The manager told us it is nicknamed Woodland Symphany because so many people hit the trees and the golf balls sound like the ball in a pinball machine. It was a very nice day. After that we went to the commissary and the BX/PX. We spent all day and most of the night out. It was a much needed break. THANKS AGAIN mama! Here are some pictures from our day at the course.

                                                              LOVE this first one!

And one for fun.......

*************

As for the family reunion thing....Michael's family is planning one. First it was going to be in Georgia where his uncle and cousins (who are like brothers) live. Next thing we know, one of his other cousins decides to have it moved to N. Carolina. I am a bit annoyed at this because GA is close to FL where Michael's mom and brother Jesse live. Not to mention all his nieces and nephews. Also, my family is in FL. My younger brother Bryan and his wife Stephanie are having their first baby (Ian) in October. Im going to be an Aunt...well, a blood related Aunt anyways. I am not too thrilled about the idea of going to Carolina when we are making a huge trip back to the States. I'd rather spend our time with more members of both of our families.

Hubby said he wants to see who says they are going up there and who will not be going. He said if his cousins don't go up, then we will probably just end up going to GA and FL.(I'm keeping my fingers crossed, can you tell!?!?!) That's all thats going on 'round these parts. Hopefully, I will not take as long to post next time.....
