T minus 2 days---

The time is unpon us. I am typing to you all from the Lagerhof Hotel. Yes, we cleared housing!!! We leave here early Sunday morning to fly back to the States. Its a bittersweet feeling honestly. On one hand, I will get to be around my family again. On the other, I am officially seperated. Honestly, Im ready. It is obvious that we just are not good for each other at this point in our lives. Hopefully this time apart will help, not hurt us.

Only time will tell.

I broke my toe. My big toe.Funny story. Nnot really, but still.  After we cleared housing,  we had a bunch of food we brought over here to the hotel.{we have a kitchenette in our room} Michael was handing things through the window to me and didnt notice the hole in the bottom ofone bag. Well, guess what happened??? I big ol' jar of jelly fell out and landed smack dab in the middleofmy big toe. Can you say "kill me now?!?!" It hurt so so so bad. It still does as a matter of fact! Im not going to the dr till we get Stateside because I do not wanna fly {10 hrs} with a big ole cast on.Can you say uncomfortable???

Anyways, tomorrow we are going to Zacharys girlfriends early bday party. Her mama moved ot up JUSTso we couuld be there! How sweet right?!!?

So I will touch base with you all once we are back in the good old US of A!!!

A Dream Come True/ Paris, France: Part One

Since I was 13 or so, I have told my mom that one day I would take her to Paris. It was suppose to be when I was 23 years old ( since thats how many cars I counted until I fell asleep one night. Even now, my favorite number is 23!) Hubby ever so amazingly said he would watch all the kids, and off we went on the Outdoor Rec Day Trip to Pair-ee! We got to the meeting spot at 2:45 a.m and were off on the road by 3. We arrived in Paris at 9:30 a.m.

Barefoot Park

Here we are entering the Barefoot park! Yes, thats right. Barefoot. the whole big ol walk of it. It was very enjoyable...except for my poor back that toted a certain pretty diva around in a backpack carrier almost all day!
It was hot and anyone who truley knows me, knows i HATE the heat. Seriously. Give me my AIR CONDITIONING and I will be fine. BLAHHHH! But despite that, it was great.

I do forget that I am in, ya know, Europe. There were many girls between the ages of 3-8 walking around topless. I felt like a was wrong for being in their presence. I mean, in the States, we are taught nakedness is for adults.( and teens hahahah) not school age kids girls out in public. I was reminded by my mom that here, it is completly nnormal for that to happen. It isn't a big deal because thats just the European culture.

Still.

Weird for me, Im not going to lie. Im just not use to seeing older girls like that.

The boys didn't have a problem with it. and no its not for the reason you're thinking
They acted like they didn't even notice! Ok, Im pretty sure they didn't notice, but still. Am I super weird for being weird????

Mid -Evil Festival at Kusel Castle

What a fun fun day!!! Every year, the town of Kusel throws it's Mid-Evil festival. It was soooo hot out and no shade, but it was a blast. Hope you enjoy the pictures!

I could have stayed and watched these belly dancers all. day.long. The music was sooooo enchanting. That's really the only word for it and the dancers moved perfectly to the beat....sigh. Ive found a new love.....

Look at those freaking monstrous huge dogs!!! Z was an awe that a dog could be that big! He asked if he could pet them and the lady said no. Arrrgh...why bring big, cool dogs like that to a festival, knowing the kids will go crazy then say nine (no) to petting them??? It urked me, but I blew it off cuz the lady looked like she was just a normally cranky,unhappy person. Could be wrong, but I didn't care to find out!


This was the summoning of the Witch Trial. It was all in German, so I didn't really understand , well...anything, but it was sooooo much fun watching. Boy, how I take understanding lauangue for granted.
