WE FINANLLY GOT IT!!!!!!

...our tax refund from 2005, that is!! Way back then, we didn't have Zachary's social security number and we finally got it around 2006. For some reason(which I cant think of right now) we never filed for the EIC for him. We got around to doing it like 3 months ago. The IRS said it should take 5-7 weeks till we got a check. Obviously. its been longer then that. But the important thing is, is that we got it!!!(and it was about 330 dollars more then we expected)

Last winter Mikey was swimming in his winter clothes so I figured he would be good to wear them and this fall/winter and they would fit fine. Well, let me tell you-----sooo not fine! He's grown right through them all!!! I cant even fake it and let him wear it for a few weeks. I was stressing because moneys tight until Michael's Iraq paychecks start kicking in.(around Nov-ish) and I kept thinking that I cant keep sending him to school in light ling sleeve shirts and a windbreaker.(he grew out of his coat too) So now, after I pick him up from school, I get to go get him some stuff! WOOHOO! I might even get their Halloween costumes today too!(how GREAT would that be?!?!?!)

Michael also wants to get a camera/camcorder for Iraq. I'm hating that hes leaving but soo excited that he actually wants to take a lot for pictures/videos. I love scrap booking his Army stuff and Iraq is about the most exciting(yet dangerous) aspect of the Army!!!

The rest we need to play "catch up" on bills...pay ahead the cell phones, and cable..blah blah blah. We are also planning to spend like 400 dollars or so at the commissary....i know i know. That's a crazy amount of money, but we like to have homemade meals for dinner 99% of the time. Plus, with Mikey starting school now, he needs snacks for his lunch and juice....on and on! We'll stock up now so we wont spend to much next time around! I love that hubby can do that for us..spend so much on food. Its kinda...ok...its TOTALLY a huge thing for me. I hate hate hate no food in the fridge. I feel like there has to always be something I can whip up in case unexpected company or friends stop by.(don't ask. long story that stems back from my school years). So, anyways that just means we are gonna be in good shape financially when he leaves! YEAH US!

Here's pictures of the 3 shirts I got him at the PX:
Long sleeve polo shirt

LOVE THIS! The tan undershirt reminds me of thermal jammies.

Black hoodie. Size 8/10!! i almost got him a 5 /6 but Im soo glad I didn't cuz it wouldn't have even come close to fitting!!!
