Well, my hubby got his official
orders for his deployment to Iraq today. What a sad day. I knew it was going to happen sooner or later but I really am not ready for him to leave.
I'm tough and have the"pull up your bootstraps" mentality and we will survive but its
still hard. Last deployment he left in January, so was here for Halloween, Thanksgiving and Christmas. This time he's not going to be here for any holidays OR Hailey's birth.
I'm struggling with it all but know I have to be strong for my babies. One day at a time .....
that's how I will get through it.
Oh and in other official business.....ITS official! This morning at breakfast, Mikey dropped the "
please don't kiss me in my line at school" bomb!
I'm crushed! I thought Id have a
while longer before he busted out with that....he did tell me that I was allowed to kiss him right when we get out of the van, as long as his friends didn't see him!
Looks like I'm going to have to settle for more of these......sheesh----

Jen, I almost cried reading this. I'm so sorry about Michael leaving, and I am SO sad you already had to hear the "don't let my friends see" line. I can only imagine how sad you are!! (Sort of... the second day of school Joshua said, "mooooom!" when I was trying to kiss him and kinda moved away from me, but I told him to hush and kiss his mother! I'm not ready for that, so I won't oblige!! lol
